That is why it is best to usually have more than one person doing a study.
That way there is at least one differing opinion.
[ experiments done by one person usually aren't perfect. But. Vergil moves, to sit at his desk. Folding his hands over, looking at Jekyll with a quiet, but serious gaze. ]
Is there a certain method to summoning him? A ... sort of command word, or.
Not a command word, no. Initially, summoning it required a certain elixir—but even that isn't necessary anymore.
I only need to expose my weakness to the beast and it will eagerly rise up on its own.
[ Saying so, Jekyll removes his glasses and neatly folds them, before tucking them into a small black case he withdraws from his pocket. He holds the case out to Vergil. ]
Would you mind holding onto this for me? The beast delights in the destruction of my personal property.
An elixir. I see. Well, given I know very little about Alchemy, it is fortunate you needn't use it any longer.
'Exposing your weakness' sounds a bit contrived, though. I assume you will handle it, however.
[ as he reaches forward to gingerly take the glasses from Jekyll--considering them a moment before stepping to place them inside an ornate wooden box on his desk. The same one he used to store some of his tools and extra pens--it fit the glasses quite comfortably, and hid them from view. ]
...Perhaps before we start, then, we should also move to the second floor. There is less to break up there.
Truthfully, it's difficult for me to put into words. It's more of a... feeling.
But make no mistake. You will meet the beast this day.
[ When Vergil makes the suggestion to move their experiment to the second floor, Jekyll nods and follows Vergil upstairs. Once there, he turns to face the man. ]
[ upstairs is mostly a mess of crates and bookshelves--filled with items halfway between refurbished and being stored--some wrapped in paper or bubble wrap. A crafting table of sorts, with a mess of paints and chemicals for cleaning and restoring broken items.
Other than that, it's mostly a large, lonely empty space--so Vergil has very little worry that if this 'Beast--' the Hyde to Henry's Jekyll gets rowdy--Vergil will be able to handle him without too much damage.
He IS watching the other, his head tipping to the side. Curious. ]
I do not fear meeting him, Jekyll. I am a fair bit stronger than I look. [ and while, at this point, he does not have his Devil Form or magic sword--he does have his rapid regeneration and some amount of superhuman strength. ]
I am watching. Do not fear for what may happen. I will be careful.

I... hadn't considered the matter from that angle.
[ The British man draws himself up to his full—admittedly none too impressive—height. ]
You're right. I've wasted enough time already.
If you are ready, then so I am.
